Brunei rout Pakistan

LAHORE, Dec 13: Pakistan suffered its second consecutive defeat when they lost to Brunei 14-5 in the Asian U-19 rugby championship on Tuesday. Pakistan, who were beaten by arch-rivals India in the opener 31-0, were 14-0 down in the first half against Brunei.

In the second half Pakistan resisted to some extent but only to reduce the margin 14-5.

In other matches, South Korea and Japan registered wins.

Results:

South Korea beat Thailand 43-0.

Japan beat Malaysia 48-12.

Taiwan beat UAE 41-0.

Sri Lanka beat Kazakhstan 21-5.
