QUETTA, Dec 8: Jamhoori Watan Party chief Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti has said that he will not oppose any operation against camps of outlaws said to have been detected in Balochistan, as was stated at the inter-provincial meeting on law and order in Karachi on Wednesday.

Talking to journalists in Dera Bugti on Thursday, he said the interior minister in his briefing had spoken about existence of such camps in Sibi, Tilli, Mach, Bolan and Shoran, which were areas of ministers belonging to the ruling Pakistan Muslim League.

He said the government was making claims, but concealing facts and it must take action in areas where, according to the minister’s claims, such camps existed.

Nawab Bugti said that if such camps really existed, there should be no doubt that these had been set up with the consent of the elected representatives of the areas.

He alleged that the government had a hand in subversive activities but it was dubbing nationalists as saboteurs to pave the way for an army operation.

The JWP leader said that the Baloch were earlier accused of being saboteurs but the people arrested in connection with bomb blasts in Lahore.
