ISLAMABAD, Oct 18: The Chairman Senate, Mohammedmian Soomro has expressed his deep sense of shock and grief over the demise of a renowned journalist Mushtaq Memon, elder brother of Senator Nisar Ahmed Memon, Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Defence and Defence Production.

In his condolence message to Senator Memon, the Senate chairman lauded the role played by Mushtaq Memon for the working journalists.

Leader of the House in the Senate, Wasim Sajjad has also condoled with brother Mushtaq Memon who died in Karachi of stomach cancer. Wasim Sajjad prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant solace to the members of bereaved family to bear the great loss with fortitude.

Speaker National Assembly, Ch. Amir Hussain and Deputy Speaker National Assembly Sardar Muhammad Yaqub have expressed their heartfelt condolences over the demise of Mushtaq Ahmed Memon, senior journalist of daily Dawn and elder brother of Senator Nisar Ahmed Memon.—APP
