KARACHI, July 15: The Sindh government has succeeded in securing facilities for starting the LLB (Hons) programme affiliated with the University of London at the S.M. Law College, Karachi. According to a spokesman for the Sindh government on Friday, the programme will be an external one and will begin from September 2005.

The said LLB (Hons) degree can be completed in a minimum time of three years and will have exactly the same academic standard as a degree obtained from the University of London itself.

After obtaining the said LLB (Hons) degree, one would be duly qualified for the prestigious honour to be called to the UK as barrister at law.—PPI
