KARACHI, July 15: Seven vessels carrying containers, steel coils and steel scrap are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was fairly active where 11 ships were berthed. They are: Kota Mardesa, Asian Trader, Lykes Racer, APL Orchid, Ever Guide and Astor, with containers, Asphalt Merchant, with bitumen, Ping Jiang, Chem Sun, to load general cargo, Emperor, with DAP fertilizer, East Tender and Capetan Michalls, with steel coils and steel scrap, respectively, and Chem Star Hero, with chemicals.

Six ships — Y.M. Sun, Hyundai Highway, Asian Trader, APL Orchid, Captain Adham and Koriana — departed on Friday, while Ping Jiang, Ever Guide, Kota Tampan, Chem Sub, Bright Sub, Antarios Breeze and Kourion are due to sail out on Saturday.

The cargo handling activity at the wharves was active where a total tonnage of 0.130m tons comprising 0.118m tons of import tonnage, including 56,382 tons of liquid cargo and 11,711 tons of export cargo, was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Swat, with 66,000 tons of crude oil, Germana, Iran Baabaei, Thor Captain, with containers, Emepeor, with fertilizer, East Tender, with steel coils, and Capetan Muichalls, with steel scrap.
