KARACHI, May 9: A meeting of the city government’s budget committee was held here on Monday under the chairmanship of Mohammad Siddiq Rathor. The meeting expressed concerns over the dissatisfactory performance of the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB).

It further decided to summon district officers of recovery, finance & planning, budget, and general, as well as the concerned officials of the KWSB, Malir District Government and the Building Controller, Malir, to the next meeting of the committee.

The next meeting has been scheduled for May 11 at the Finance and Computer Training Centre of the City Council Secretariat.—PPI
