LONDON, Dec 12: Britain’s 77-year-old Queen Elizabeth had some benign facial lesions removed from her face on Friday while in hospital undergoing a knee operation, Buckingham Palace said.
“This morning, the queen underwent the successful removal of cartilage from her left knee,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement released after the 75-minute operation at the King Edward VII Hospital.—AFP
