RAWALPINDI, June 26: Five persons, including two sons of Imtiaz Khokhar alias Taji Khokhar and a nephew were booked by the Civil Lines police on Wednesday for hurling threats on Raja Aziz Khokhar.

Aziz Khokar is a complainant in the murder case of his brother Nadeem Khokhar, who was allegedly gunned down in 2009 by Taji Khokar and his two sons over land dispute.

On Wednesday afternoon when Raja Aziz Khokhar came out of the Anti-Terrorism Court along with his brother Mohammad Wasim and Raja Yaquoob, he was confronted by Bilal Khokhar, Ramzan Khokhar, Raja Azhar and two sons of Taji Khokhar Omer Khokhar and Furrakh Khokhar standing outside.

He said on seeing them coming out of the ATC, they started hurling threats of dire consequences on them.

“We will kill you in the same way as Nadeem Khokhar was killed,” Nasir Aziz said in his FIR and added: “Since my brother was murdered I went to Malaysia due to life threats from the accused.”

And now he returned to Pakistan to follow the murder case of his brother, Nadeem said.

Soon after the incident, the complainant went to the City Police Officer Abdul Razzaque Cheema at his office and lodged a complaint with him.

Taji Khokhar’s two sons Omer Khokhar and Furrakh Khokhar, involved in the murder of a woman, Sabira Bibi, were formally arrested on Tuesday night and on Wednesday the ATC remanded them in police custody for seven days.
