RAWALPINDI, June 6: Taji Khokhar, main accused in a woman murder case, returned to Islamabad only after getting pre-arrest bail from Sindh High Court (SHC).

He came from Dubai via Karachi on a Pakistan International Airline’s flight on Thursday at around 6:30pm.

Taji Khokhar, brother of former deputy speaker of the National Assembly, had been nominated in the FIR registered in connection with the murder of Sabira Bibi in Dhoke Gangal.

Though he was placed on exit control list in the first week of April, he somehow escaped to Dubai.

When contacted the city police officer Abdul Razzaque Cheema confirmed that Taji Khokhar had landed in Islamabad after getting his pre-arrest bail from Sindh High Court. —Mohammad Asghar
