LAHORE, June 5: A Senior Civil Judge, Abbottabad, has accepted a petition for hearing in contempt of court against Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Zaka Ashraf and issued him the notice for June 7.
President of the Abbottabad cricket region Aamir Nawab Khan filed the petition, praying that the august court had issued a stay order against the ad hoc imposed on his body by the PCB chairman. But he was not invited for the PCB general council meeting on May 29. Instead, the PCB invited the ad hoc member to attend the meeting, which is contempt of the court.—Sports Reporter
