Judges detention case: IHC issues notices to all parties; seeks records

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court hearing judges detention case against former military ruler Gen (r) Pervez Musharraf, issued a notice on Monday to all those party to the case and sought all relevant records over an appeal filed against the court’s decision to discard the bail plea of the former president, DawnNews reported.

A divisional bench of the IHC comprising of Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui and Justice Riaz Ahmed Khan resumed the hearing over an appeal filed in thr IHC by Advocate Ilyas Siddiqui, counsel for the former military strongman, against the rejection of his client’s bail application by an Anti Terrorism Court in the judges detention case.

The bench hearing the case issued a notice to all those party to the case and sought all relevant records while adjourning the hearing until June 4.
