blasphemy done by non muslims is nothing but checking muslims either they are still rigid on their believes or out of track. we should treat them by prophet PBUH~s teachings instead of our self aggresive behaviour .and devasting our own possessions

We never learn exactly what was said that was considered blasphemy. Both the English and Urdu press use euphemisms, afraid of being accused of blasphemy. Blasphemy laws need drastic review. But in a nation where laws are routinely violated by the government , the military, the tribal leaders, the politicians, religious fanatics, the tax evaders and ordinary citizens, the very concept of law has become meaningless. Even the draconian blasphemy statute requires a legal procedure. But the mob ignores the law, transforms the individual alleged crime into the collective crime of a community, uses the opportunity to burn, destroy, loot and kill. Ironically despite the suo moto meddling high judiciary, we have become a society of mob rule and lynching. Our practically non existing state by failing to provide justice, encourages people to take laws into their own hands. What happened to the killers of the Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, Governor Taseer, Minister Bhatti, Saleem Shehzad and hundreds others? A radical reform in policing, investigation procedures and lower judiciary as well ad zero tolerance for corruption is an absolute requiremen. beyond these short term measures promotion of tolerance in schools, universities and other civil society organizations, particularly the religious institutions is an imperative. Otherwise the BLASPHEMY BOMB will remain hanging over Pakistani society waiting for a QARI, an IMAM or a shafiq Ahmed to strike a match and detonate a disaster.
