Firstly commercial passenger vehicles should be banned for installation of CNG / LPG kits as this is a very dangerous practice in our country. This is not the first such instance where precious lives have been lost. Moreover the transporters already charge the public fares corresponding to the diesel prices. Banning CNG in public transport will not only give some relief to the already burdened natural gas resources it will also contribute towards the public safety. Secondly there is no awareness and implementation of stern laws against smokers in commercial transport. Only few renowned transport companies like daewoo don't allow smoking in their vehicle rest the the example is this incident. Big fines and public awareness campaigns & initiatives should be introduced so that the menace of smoking in the public transport is curbed.
