This is with reference to the news about West Bengal Director General of Police Naparajit Mukherjee, addressing a meeting of chief secretaries and police chiefs of nine-Maoist-hit states. He stated that the ISI is having close liaison with some pro-Naxal over ground organisations through banned SIMI (Students Islamic Movement of India) in the state and helping them to instigate people against the government.

It is important to mention here that for the first time a senior officer has come on record blaming the ISI for being Naxals carry out anti-government activities.

There is not even a signal day that Pakistan or ISI is not blamed in the Indian media for one thing or the other so as to keep the pressure on and defame it internationally.

Instead of wasting all her zeal in playing the blame game against Pakistan, India could have made the situation far better by concentrating upon the remedy of actual issues which compel the people to revolt against the Indian government. Instead of targeting Pakistan, India should pay attention to the biggest internal security threat: Naxalism.

Living away from Pakistan for more than 16 years and having travelled extensivley around the world, I have never met any Pakistani who would introduce himself as Indian but have met countless Indians who would consider it a huge compliment if you tell them that they look like a Pakistani

U r right,i can understand why Pakistanis here in Ukraine also introduce themselves as Indians. But if being called a Pakistani is a shame, then calling themselves Indians should hurt their pride as well.

Pakistan is a cradle of terrorists and this fact is well known the world over. How can Pakistan exonerate Itself from being the father of Talibans, heaven for the outlawed and saboteurs. Come on do not hide your face behind pretentions . ISI is as dangerous to India as it is to its own people. Chawla

I accept with the writer. But Pakistan also should follow the same rule in case of Balochistan

Whether you like it or not, Pakistan is blamed, not just by India but by almost every country in the world. Most of the terrorist plots all around the world are always tracked back to Pakistan. I have many Pakistani friends in Canada, they are really wonderful people, but none of them admit to being Pakistani when asked !

Indians are pulling the cart before the horse. Ironically, their biased media has not named ISI for the natural death of Shiv sena leader.

I am Indian and I feel India cannot control Naxals. Naxalism is shame for India. Naxalism is a socio-economic problem in India. Whether ISI supports Naxalism or not only investigation can prove. If he had any proof he has to show it in the media.
