CHITRAL, Nov 13: Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf is likely to visit the Lowari tunnel project on Nov 15 (Thursday) to inaugurate the second phase of the mega project. The work on the project had been abandoned for want of funds.

The district administration, however, did not confirm the visit of the prime minister.

A source in National Highway Authority told Dawn that the rail tunnel would be converted into a road tunnel, which was a longstanding demand of the people of Chitral.—Correspondent
