It’s mind-boggling, really. Not only haven’t a majority of our TV channels cottoned on to the idea of quality programming they try and take their viewers for a ride thinking they wouldn’t give a darn about it.

On eid day a couple of networks ran shows suggesting they were being telecast live (live is usually written on one corner of TV screens). Ironically, one of the hosts of a show was seen on two networks at the same time, both claiming to be going on air unrecorded. How can a person by physically present at two places at the same time? Perhaps technology has advanced so far ahead that we’re yet to grasp it.
