ISLAMABAD: Shoaib Akhtar, one of the world’s fastest bowlers and rated among the most controversial characters the game of cricket has seen, has launched his official website.

When asked about the website, Shoaib said: “My fans are my source of encouragement and support. I am truly thankful to all my fans across the globe that have constantly stood by me, backed me, and inspired me to play the game that I truly love. It is because of them I launched my official website.”

He further said: “Having a global fan following, the best medium to interact and reconnect with one’s fan is through social and digital media as it has the capacity to transcend spatial boundaries.”

Shoaib announced his retirement from international cricket during the 2011 World Cup.—Agencies

Is it just me or you can't read the information on the 'contact' page because of black font used on the dark green background??? Such a glaring mistake overlooked by the designers.

We want to see Shoaib Akhtar keeping playing in shorter verson of T20 game like in IPL/SPL AND BIG BASH IN Australia we feel sorry that cricketing carrer of Shoaib was curtalied by so called grouping of players in Pakistan team and you see the in-justice done by Afridi to Shoaib in world cup has cost Afrid ODI captaincy and now Afridi play in the team as an ordinary player no more Afrdi is a star after his action abruptly ended Shoaib carrer.

I love him. He is the greatest Pakistan ever produced. See his YouTube and you will find no one coming close to his aggression and bowling.
