ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s main stock market closed slightly higher on Wednesday as investors remained cautious ahead of a slew of financial results in the next few weeks, dealers said.
The Karachi Stock Exchange benchmark 100-share index gained 6.13 points, or 0.04 per cent, to close at 14,380.46 points on low volume of 57.1 million shares.
“Many companies’ financial results are expected in the next few weeks. Investors are waiting for those results, which is why activity remained low,” said Shuja Rizvi, a trader at Al-Hoqani Securities.
