At a meeting here on Tuesday, they condemned anti-workers’ attitude of APTUO’s secretary-general and his non-compliance of federation’s constitution.

Labour leader Ghulam Qasim presided over the meeting attended by APTOU deputy secretary-general Ghulam Sarwar Chandio, organiser Mohammad Ashraf, Sindh general secretary Ghulam Mustafa Saryo and deputy general secretary Abdul Hameed. Other office-bearers of the federation and trade unions were also present.

The meeting said the secretary-general had participated in an anti-workers rally which had supported chairman Zafar Iqbal Gondal of the Employees Old Age Benefits Institution.

The meeting observed that a letter had been sent to National Industrial Relations Commission, informing it that they have formed the ASTUO.
