We won’t go into the details as to how and when Bollywood king Shahrukh Khan one more time got detained at the New York airport by the immigration authorities because everybody knows about that. SRK’s retort while delivering a lecture at Yale and the Indian government’s stern reaction to the incident are also well-documented. What we’re interested in is that why is it happening only to SRK. There are at least five other Khans in the Indian film industry—Aamir, Salman, Saif, Fardeen, Imran. They never got detained. Oh, samajh gaey! The last time SRK was stopped at a US airport his film My Name is Khan was released. This time round his acting in Ra.One must’ve irked the US authorities. Still, that’s no way to penalise bad acting.
