62 candidates left in field in DG Khan

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Sept 15: At least 17 candidates will contest for three seats of national and 45 for seven seats of provincial assembly in the Dera Ghazi Khan district.

The candidates contesting for NA-171 are: Khawaja Sheeraz Mehmood (cycle), Sardar Mohammad Amjad Farooq Khan Khosa (tiger), Faqir Bhutta (crescent), Khawaja Jamal (Arrow), Sardar Marghoob Kheetran (eagle), Maj Dr Mohammad Ashraf Buzdar (retired) (book), Mushtaq Mandrani (peacock).

In NA-172, Dr Saeed Buzdar (arrow), Rasheed Ahmed Khan advocate (book), Sardar Muhammad Khan Leghari (camel) and Sardar Farooq Ahmed Khan Leghari (tractor) are in the run.

In NA-173, Dr Sardar Saleem Arif Khan Lund (car), Sardar Owais Ahmed Khan Leghari (tractor), Sahibzada Maulana Muhammad Ibrahim (book), Sardar Abbas Ali Khan Lund (crescent), Sardar Hussain Khan Leghari (camel) and Sardar Irfanullah Khan Khosa (arrow) are in the race.

Similarly, the candidates vying for PP-242 are: Sardar Javed Akhtar Khan Lund (tractor), Dr Allah Bakhsh Bhatti (truck), Dr Saleem Arif Khan Lund (peacock), Sardar Abbas Ali Khan Lund (crescent), Sardar Irfanullah Khan Khosa (arrow), Mohammad Azam (book) and Sardar Salahuddin Khan Khosa (camel).

For PP-243, Sardar Shafqat Nadeem Khan Khosa (peacock), Sardar Mohammad Jaafar Khan Leghari (tractor), Shahida Qureshi (cow), Sardar Sher Mohammad Khan Khalool Khosa advocate (arrow), Abdul Rehman Bhatti (sickle), Liaquat Ali Yousafi (boota) and Sardar Mohammad Khan Leghari (camel) are in the race to win the seat.

Riaz Khan Ilyani (truck), Sardar Alam Khan (arrow), Sardar Muhammad Saifuddin Khan Khosa (tiger), Syed Anwarul Hassan Shah (helicopter), Syed Abdul Aleem Shah (tractor), Sheikh Usman Farooq (boota), Sardar Muhammad Mazhar Khan Nutkani (crescent) and Mohammad Yaqoob Khan Ahsan (tonga) will compete for PP-244.

Three candidates — Dr Saeed Buzdar (arrow), Sardar Mohammad Khan Leghari (camel) and Sardar Farooq Ahmed Khan Leghari (tractor) are face-to-face in PP-245.

For PP-246, Riaz Ahmed Ilyani (truck), Sardar Muhammad Jaafar Khan Leghari (cow), Sardar Muhammad Saifuddin Khan Khosa (tiger), Sardar Muhammad Yousuf Khan Leghari (tractor), Qazi Zulfiqar Hussain (book) and Sardar Mohammad Jehangir Khan advocate (arrow) are vying to clinch the seat.

Scores of aspirants — Sardar Mir Badshah Khan Qaisrani (cycle), Sardar Orangzeb Khan Qaisrani (gamla), Sardar Orangzeb Alamgir Khetran (crescent), Saleem Jaskani (peacock), Sardar Imam Bakhsh Khan Qaisrani (tractor), Sardar Marghoob Amir Khan Khetran (eagle), Shamoona Ambreen Qaisrani (ox-cart), Dr Tahir Muhammad Abdullah Qaisrani (book), Sardar Farooq Karim Khan Khetran (arrow), Makhdoom Manzoor Ahmed (camel) and Sardar Wahid Baksh Qaisrani (star) are competing for PP-240.

Only three candidates — Sardar Fateh Mohammad Khan Buzdar (cycle), Khawaja Mudassar Mehmood (arrow) and Abdul Salam Buzdar (book) are in the run for PP-241.
