Asim Kamal hits 160

KARACHI, Jan 27: Dusky left-hander Asim Kamal struck his third first-class century of the season Sunday when he took his overnight score from 75 to 160 as Karachi Blues amassed 458 against Sargodha in the Quaid Trophy Grade-I match at Sports Stadium.

According to details available from Sargodha, Asim batted for 555 minutes and faced 348 deliveries during his marathon stay. Stand-in skipper Atiq-uz-Zaman (53 overnight) was out for 187-ball 86 after putting on 143 for the fifth-wicket with Asim, who also added 143 for the sixth-wicket with Riaz Shaikh (74 off 144 balls).
