DSP killed in encounter

SHIKARPUR, June 29: The SPO of Lakhi Ghulam Shah, DSP Mehar Ali Langah, was killed in an encounter between outlaws and police near Juneja Laaro on Lakhi-Naudero road on Sunday night.

According to police sources, a gang of robbers intercepted a wagon going from Larkana to Sukkur and started looting passengers.

A police party, led by DSP Langah, reached there and challenged the dacoits who opened fire. In the exchange of fire, DSP Langah was killed. The outlaws escaped. The body of DSP Langah was sent to his native place in Larkana.
