DADU: Girl kidnapped

DADU, May 11: A young girl was kidnapped when she was returning home from a market here on Saturday night.

Armed kidnappers bundled Amina Qambrani, 18, into a car and sped away.

However, police have managed to arrest the driver of the car, Shahmir Qambrani.

A large number of Qambrani tribesmen staged a demonstration at the DPO chowk demanding recovery of the kidnapped girl.

The SHO town police arrived at spot and assured the people that girl would be recovered soon.

In another incident a policeman was shot dead over a matrimonial dispute in Dadu on Saturday night. Some armed men opened fire at Hakim Ali Chandio who was posted outside the private clinic of a doctor, Ali Hassan Baladi. The police claimed that Hakim Chandio was killed by his relatives over a matrimonial dispute.
