GUJRANWALA, May 3: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Saturday arrested three more human agents and recovered two minor boys who were being smuggled to a European country on the pretext of getting higher studies.

FIA additional director Hussain Asgher said that main accused Ijaz Ahmad of Sargodha was involved in smuggling of minor boys to European countries after taking Rs1.4 million per head from their parents.

He said the agency received information that the accused was smuggling two more boys, Bilal Umer (12) of Malakwal and Tanvir Ahmad (13) of Mandi Bahauddin, to France. He said an agency team raided the Lahore airport and arrested the accused besides recovering both boys from his custody.

The accused confessed that he had already sent nine boys to Europe. He said two of them were killed in road accidents there and their bodies were brought back and handed over to their parents.
