SIALKOT, Feb 6: District Police Officer Muhammad Ameen Wains on Wednesday suspended from service Daska city police station’s three constables and a head constable for beating up senior journalist Aoun Sahi and his brother Muslim Sahi.

Aoun Sahi, who belongs to Daska’s Mandraanwala village, is the younger brother of Lahore-based journalist Asad Sahi.

Taking notice of the incident, the DPO suspended from service head constable Mushtaq Ahmad and constables Waqas Ahmad, Shahzad and Shehryar and appointed Daska DSP Muhammad Arshad Baryar as an inquiry officer. The DPO ordered departmental probe against the suspended policemen.
