HYDERABAD, Jan 9: The Sindh Punjabi Students Association (SPSA) has condemned the advertisement campaign launched by the former Punjab chief minister Pervaiz Illahi and vowed to fight against the conspiracies of Choudhry brothers, who they said were trying to create ethnic divide.

The SPSA’s central chief organiser Choudhry Nawaz Jatt and office-bearers said at a news conference at the press club on Tuesday said that the dictators had disintegrated the country, abrogated the constitution and created ethnic and sectarian riots in order to perpetuate their rule.

The murder of Akbar Bugti and the elimination of Benazir Bhutto in the Punjab were the chains of the same sinister conspiracy to shift entire blame to the Punjab, they said.

They said that the murder of Benazir Bhutto, who was a symbol of federation, was a great tragedy and her death had made the country politically orphan.

They expressed condolences with Bhutto family and PPP on behalf of all the Punjabi settlers and appealed to party high command to get rid of the black sheep in the party who were trying to convert a national party into a provincial one.

They warned Choudhry brothers to desist from the dirty game of creating ethnic hatred and stressed that they would be made to account for every penny they had taken on loan from the banks.
