KARACHI, Dec 28: Agriculture Group of Offices, department of the city government has established veterinary relief medical camps to take care of sacrificial animals.

A city government spokesman said such camps had been established in all the 18 towns of the city on the instructions of the city nazim. Veterinary doctors and support staff would be available at the camps.

Besides, the municipal services group of offices, department of city government has finalised a contingency plan for safe removal of offal and waste in its limits during Eidul Azha.

According to a CDGK spokesman, the city government had established complaint centers in 18 towns and requested citizens to inform about offal and animal waste in their areas to their respective town complaint centers. These complaint centers have been asked to act promptly to the citizens’ complaints.

The citizens can contact the Central Control Room 9230060-2 and Help Line 134-5 lines besides Fire Emergency Service 16, Central Fire Station 9215007-8, Toll Free number 0800-12012, DCO Camp Office on Club Road 9205631, 9205644, Control Room EDO Revenue 9231214-9231215 have also been activated in this regard, said the spokesman. The EDO Municipal Group of Office could be contacted on the phone numbers 9230071 and 9230064.
