Bilal foils Gujranwala

KARACHI, Jan 17: Bilal Khilji played a captain’s innings as Bahawalpur made a gallant attempt to win the Quaid Trophy tie against Gujranwala at Bahawalpur Stadium Thursday.

According to details available here, Bahawalpur ended on 389 for seven in their second innings, 33 runs short of victory, after resuming the day on 198 for three.

Bilal (46 overnight) remained undefeated on 150 off 303 balls in a stay of almost seven hours.
