Defence talks in progress

WASHINGTON, Sept 17: The Pakistan-US Defence Consultative Group (DCG) continues to hold its four-day meetings here.

On the third day (Wednesday), the DCG was scheduled to finalize minutes before holding the concluding session on Thursday.

Defence Secretary Lt-Gen (retd) Hamid Nawaz is heading the 14-member Pakistan delegation at the talks.

On agenda are various issues including cooperation in training, exercises, equipment and counter-terrorism.—APP
