Robert Pattinson, Katy Perry in love?

Actor Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry have reportedly fallen for each other. The "Twilight" actor even stayed at the singer's home for more than a week.
The two also attended a Bjork concert at the Hollywood Palladium here. They were said to have met up secretly and made their way into the gig together before leaving separately to avoid photographers waiting outside the venue.
Their romance is said to have blossomed as Perry comforted him over his split with "Twilight" co-star Kristen Stewart, who cheated on him with director Rupert Sanders, reports thesun.co.uk.
A source said: "They are both good friends but have been hanging out more and more recently. Rob poured out his heart to Katy about Kristen cheating on him. She proved to be a really good shoulder to cry on."
"He stayed at her house in LA after they went away to Santa Barbara together for few days over American Memorial Day weekend late last month. Their friends say they have now fallen for each other," the source added.
The couple are now planning a romantic Caribbean summer getaway.
The source said: "They are talking about going to the Bahamas in the next few weeks to visit some friends of Katy's."
"They are both hopeless romantics, so it wouldn't be a surprise if things developed quickly," the source added. — TOI

A lot of folks will be critical of this alleged matchup, but if RobSten are truly split up then anything goes for ensuing relationships like perhaps Rob and Katy, if it is real. I am a fan of all these people and just wish the best for them, however it works out. We are back in the world of strong unsubstantiated comments and will not know what is real until the principals tell us or show us. If they are really moving together as a couple, I'd just caution them to take enough time first to recover from their previous relationships before getting quite serious. I hope that they don't screw up their good friendship by romance, because they may be more helpful to one another as friends only. The statement that things might develop quickly between them because Rob and Katy are both hopeless romantics is kind of funny, in an industry where many celebrities seem to change relationships like clothing and cars. Being hopeless romantics doesn't seem to be required in an environment of quick turnarounds..

Be very careful Rob.....You know how vulnerable one is after a breakup....DO NOT make a hasty decision about anything regarding Kristen....YES, you should be apart for a while...perhaps even a year and both should concentrate on their movies.....BUT DON'T get into another relationship for quite some time....I have this distinct feeling you would be regretting your decision for the rest of your life....Kristen is most definitely your soul-mate...Trust your heart. It is not going to hurt you to call her once in a while....and perhaps even have dinner....Not now but down the road....Good Luck

Katy pay back is a monster you will pay. You have been going with Rob Pattinson for a long time on Kristen. If I was Kristen I wouldn't want him back after you. To say you are someone friend and go behind their back to go with their boyfriend what kind of a woman are you. You can stop with the cross on your clothes doesn't help your image. Robert is just as bad as you,you deserve each other. Another woman is going to do you the same way. Kristen does have Jesus Christ on her side. After your divorce in July of last year item it came out Kristen was cheating on Robert are you sure you didn't have something to do with that. Kristen is better off with Robert and you out of her life. Why don't you and Robert tell the truth.

On the one hand, she was the one who pulled the plug, I believe due to katy's and Robert's INAPPROPRIATE CLOSENESS in NEW YORK back in May... two weeks after they broke up. This is Kristen saying ENOUGH WITH THE SNEAKING AROUND PLAYING FRIENDS, WHEN THAT'S NOT WHAT'S GOING ON and not only with Katy but with his girl friends from his constant partying. He was always a player,,, let's go the memory lane, Nikki Reed anyone? What's her name in Remember me anyone? Ashley Green anyone, most of the cast of Twilight anyone, lol? I AM SURE she still loves Robert, but I believe she deserves better than an ars with an ego of the the size of his own whatever... She is better off... he on the other hand will be miserable for not standing up for his true love, FOREVER.

PLEASE by all means I hope Katy and Rob PUTZ hook up fall in love and let him start treating Katy like he did Kristen........He is a reserved, dry, snobby Brit....Kristen..needs a man that is romantic, protective, loving, supportive, and caring. Someone that will hold her hand in public. And Admit if she an another man are in a mutually exclusive relationship. Not someone that acts ashamed of her and controls her with his moods. Walk on Kristen, head up, your future is so bright you have to wear shades.

Rob said he didn't understand cheating, and I don't think he could get over it, in the long run:

Not a big fan of Robs...and certainly not a fan of Katy Perry...don't like her for political reasons...Rob drinks too much..and katy seems to party ALOT....him and katy should get along just fine. Kristen will get thru this. She needs to be single for awhile...she has been in relationship since she was 15 I think...she is young, rich, and wonderful actress...time for her to enjoy! She has had to pay such a hard price for her fame. Cannot wait for her next movie...it really sounds like it's going to be pretty great!

OMG you crazy people, you have no idea if Rob and Kristen were soul mates or not, Rob and Katy reportedly new each other through another friend before Katy and Kristen started to be friends, they were probably friends through Rob. For another thing, it was probably the film company that wanted their relationship on the down low for all the spin it got them! Go for it Rob and Katy if you are keen on each other! Kristen was so sullen and has looked happier now since not being with Rob so it is all for the best it seems.
