LAHORE, May 31: The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has declared the results of various professional examinations on Friday.

According to a press release, a total of 147 candidates of four nursing colleges appeared in the third professional BSc nursing (four-year programme) annual examination 2012, out of whom 145 were declared successful, showing a pass percentage of 98.64.

Sumaya Fatima of the College of Nursing, Armed Forces Postgraduate Medical Institute, Rawalpindi, got first position by securing 268/300 marks.

Tabassum Kaleem of the College of Nursing, Shalamar Hospital, Lahore, and Khalida Habib of the College of Nursing, Armed Forces Postgraduate Medical Institute, Rawalpindi, got second and third positions by getting 267 and 262 marks, respectively.

In the second professional BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy (revised scheme) annual examination 2012, six out of seven candidates passed with a pass percentage of 85.71.

In the second professional BSc (Hons) Speech and Language Pathology (revised scheme) annual examination 2012, 18 out of 20 candidates were declared passed, showing a pass percentage of 94.74.

Saher Babar of the School of Allied Health Sciences, Lahore, secured first, Khadija Saleem of the same college second and Anum Ashraf of FMH College of Medicine & Dentistry, Lahore, third position by securing 653, 633 and 629/800 marks, respectively.

A total of 127 candidates of five nursing institutions appeared in the second professional BSc Nursing (four-year programme) annual examination 2012. Out of them, 110 passed showing a pass percentage of 86.62.

Hifza Bano of the College of Nursing, Armed Forces Postgraduate Medical Institute, Rawalpindi, got first position by securing 320/400 marks. Rida Zainab Zafar of the same institute and Shahla Munawar of the College of Nursing, Nishtar Medical College, Multan, got second and third positions by securing 319 and 317 marks, respectively.

In the final professional, BSc Nursing (two-year programme) annual examination 2012, the pass percentage remained 100 as all the 74 candidates passed the exam.

Annosha Khan of Saida Waheed FMH College of Nursing, Lahore, got first position in the exams by securing 448/500 marks. Nida Sehar of the same college and Shahla Arshad of the College of Nursing, Shalamar Hospital, Lahore, got second and third positions by securing 442 and 425 marks, respectively.

In the first professional, BSc Nursing (Post RN two-year) annual examination 2012, 69 out of 93 candidates were declared successful, showing a pass percentage of 76.67.

Sobia Hayat and Nuzhat Tahira of the College of Nursing, Armed Forces Postgraduate Medical Institute, Rawalpindi, got first and second positions by securing 327 and 311/400 marks, respectively. Third position was bagged by Samina Yasmeen of the College of Nursing, PIMS, Islamabad, who got 309 marks.

The result of second professional BSc (Hons) Cardiac Perfusion Technology (revised scheme) annual examination 2012 remained 100 per cent as all the 10 candidates passed.

In the second professional BSc (Hons) Respiratory Therapy (revised scheme) annual exam 2012, six candidates out of eight passed.

Moreover, eight candidates out of 13 got through in the second professional BSc (Hons) Operation Theatre Technology (revised scheme) annual examination 2012.
