Imran urges British High Commissioner to warn Altaf

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has urged the British High Commissioner Adam Thompson to take notice of comments made by Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain, DawnNews reported.
The British High Commissioner had arrived at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital to visit the PTI chief, who is recovering from an injury suffered during his election campaign.
Imran Khan reportedly told Thompson that Altaf Hussain's statements were against British law and that action should be taken against it.
He also told the British High Commissioner that the UK government should issue a warning to the MQM chief.
The London Metropolitan police has already launched an investigation against MQM chief Altaf Hussain after complaints by hundreds of British and Pakistani citizens.

While IK is going after Altaf Hussain calling him a murderer and asking the UK government to open cases against him, but he is making a call to sit down with a murderer and criminal organization of Taliban to discuss peace in KP. Double standard.

Since PTI has lost the election, now they don't need MQM for any possible political alliance to form govt. so they have taken an aggressive stance on this matter. Now PTI wants to cash anti MQM sentiments in some quarter of the society by making an issue out of Altaf Hussain's statement. Although that statement was not a clear cut demand of detaching Karachi from Pakistan. It was a political statement, just to safe guard the mandate of Karachi. PTI is just doing politics on this matter.

Altaf Hussain should be deported to Pakistan by the British Government on the basis that his speeches are inflammatory and create division betwen the Pakistani masses.

i have question why not pakistani govt take action against Altaf hussain for the statment of teen talwaar people ko kill if he order to his supporters its open threat , due to this threat govt can warn if any PTI dharna or supporter get some loss he would be responsible, as bhutto threat only one people and he was hanged

I called London police to find more information about this case. They won't give much information but the person who took my call told me that the case has been very serious and an investigation is going on and they will take an action based on investigation. I also listened to Mr. Altaf's speech on Youtube, I was shocked to hear the clear threats emanating specially against demonstrator at 3 Talwars. Knowing British law I know he is in serious hot water. It is shame that Pakistan is not able to take an action against a foreigner who is threatening its citizen.

The MQM is more threatening than the Taliban to Imran Khan. Amazing! If Imran had come out clearly and forcefully against the Taliban who have mordered tens of thousands of Pakistanis, I could accept his comments on the MQM. Instead, PTI is full of brotherly love for the Taliban and seems to be more threatened by th MQM leaders statement of implied threats. I guess implied threats from the MQM trumps real murders by the Taliban brothers. Its mind boggling that this comes from one of the more allegedly pricipled politicians.
